Purchasing Terms

  • All sales are final unless stated otherwise.
  • Used containers are sold as-is with no warranties beyond being wind and water-tight unless explicitly stated.
  • Customers may visit our yard to inspect and select their container before purchase or request detailed photos.
  • Full payment is required before delivery or pickup.

Rental Terms

  • Rental periods are billed in 4-week cycles.
  • A security deposit may be required, refundable upon container return in its original rented condition.
  • Rented containers must not be modified, damaged, or relocated without prior approval.
  • Rental payments must be made on time to avoid late fees or collection action.

Delivery Policy

  • Delivery is available for an additional fee based on location and accessibility.
  • Customers must ensure clear access to the drop-off location; failed deliveries due to site issues may incur additional fees.
  • Delivery times are estimated and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances like weather or logistics delays.
  • Customers must inspect the container upon delivery and report any issues immediately.

Cancellation Policy

  • Orders for purchased containers may be canceled before dispatch for a full refund.
  • Once a container has been dispatched for delivery, cancellations are not allowed.
  • Rental agreements can be canceled with a minimum of 5 days’ notice before the next billing cycle.

Refund Policy

  • Refunds for purchased containers are only available if the wrong container was delivered or if there is a significant defect not disclosed before sale.
  • No refunds are available for used containers with minor dents or rust, as these are standard wear conditions.
  • Rental deposits are refundable upon return of the container in good condition.

Liability & Indemnity

  • CanadaSeaContainers is not responsible for any damage, loss, or liability arising from improper use, storage, or placement of a container.
  • Customers agree to indemnify CanadaSeaContainers against any claims related to the use of the container after purchase or during rental.
